Long time!

Alright fokes...it has happened! Kaden is crawling!! He is more like and inch worm but he sure knows what he wants and how to get to it! Mckenzie hates when he gets her toys, but she is learning that if she plays with his toys, he can have hers! It's been a hard weekend in terms of sharing with him, but she is getting it!! He also has slept for 10 hours for the last two nights...knock on wood...but it is really nice. Lets see what else is going on.....nothing exciting i fear!!! The excitement lays in the movement from Sir Kaden!!!!

Well its been a month since I was last on here. I have really tired...but with the two kids, and work this is a hard time of year. I have been really busy with school, and thing calm down only when I go to bed. I promise I will get better...just keep bugging me!!! Someday my butt will get in gear! I am looking forward to spending most of my summer home with the kids. They will go to school 2 days a week at least, in the mornings, some all days so i can go to a few work shops as well. In July I am going to leave them at home for 3 days so I can attend a workshop that will allow me to catch up for the one I missed in Feb. Kinda sucks I have to be gone for so long, but it will keep me certified in TX if I can get the hours in!







Kaden is doing great. He changes everyday. He is laughing at toys and his sister all the time. He really likes to laugh at the TIGER on his wall paper in his room. He loves to play on the floor and be in the middle of whatever Mckenzie is doing. Mckenzie is doing a great job at the Big Sister task. The newness has warn off, but she still helps when asked and is very worried about him at school. Her teachers tell me that she will often look in the window and find him before she will go to her class. In June she is starting gymnastics and we are looking forward to that. She just finished up her kindermusic this weekend, and if/when we go back in the fall she gets to move up a class where she can go without me!! Kinda sad!!! My baby girl is growing up!!!

Getting Updates

Since I have done such a WONDERFUL job at getting you all updates on Kaden, and sharing new information about the big sister we will see if this will help. Check back once in a while as I will be adding pictures on here once in a while. Again...I am hoping that I get better at this. With Mckenzie it seemed so much easier...but now I have 2 kiddos, and even with being off work I have still had to do all the lesson planning so I have been doing that and trying to keep up on a little bit of sleep.

Kaden is now 5 weeks old and doing great. He seems to be extra fussy in the evenings but other then that he is doing good. He does not seem to mind his big sister and actully seem to enjoy when she talks to him. I had him wake her up this morning and he was all smiles when she gave him a hug! She loves to take care of him and make sure he does not cry to much, or for to long. Kaden slept for 6 hours last night so that was GREAT! It was much better then sleeping for 4 hours, getting up and eating 4 oz. going back to sleep and then up in 2 hours later for 2 oz. That was getting old and I hope we do not go back to that.
